Perdue Strikes Out Hunger

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. — Tonight’s Good News is brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy.

Our friends at Perdue and the Delmarva Shorebirds scored a home run by completing the Perdue Strikes Out Hunger Challenge, where they put together a record number of meals for foodbanks.

In total, this campaign generated over one and a half million meals. Their fifteen year partnership with the Delmarva Shorebirds and local foodbanks has been a great example of Eastern Shore organizations coming together and addressing the important issues.
