Local man holds backpack giveaway for Salisbury community

SALISBURY, Md. – Tonight’s Good News is brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming out of Salisbury.

A big shoutout to James Webb who recently held his 2nd annual Back-To-School Cookout and Bookbag Giveaway at the Doverdale Playground in Salisbury.

Last year, James was able to provide 50 backpacks and supplies for children in the area and this year he far surpassed that, providing more than 200 bookbags and supplies for area children with the help of a few volunteers.

James says it has always been his heart to giveback to those in need and enjoys giving back in the community he grew up in.

A big thanks to James for his generosity and care for kids in the area heading back to school!
