Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce Introduces Challenge Coins

Crisfield, Md. — The Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce is introducing challenge coins celebrating America 250 and giving people a chance to take a self-guided tour of important locations around Crisfield.

Participants can go to any of the 11 designated locations in the tour and take a photo as proof while learning about the historical significance of each spot. For people that visited at least six of the locations and show proof at the Chamber of Commerce visitors center, the chamber will award them one of the branded challenge coins.

For those not up for the tour experience, the coins are available for purchase for $10 at the chamber visitors center. The tour runs until January 1 2027.

“We tried to make sure that we could include as many people as we could in the tour. Everyone seems very happy about it. And this is a special coin. It’s only once in a lifetime you’re going to get this,” said Heather Ross, executive director of the Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce.
