Car Stolen from Baltimore Co. Found Burned in Federalsburg

FEDERALSBURG, Md. – The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating after a stolen vehicle was found burned to crisp in Federalsburg on Monday morning.
Just before 7:15 a.m. on Sept. 28, a passerby discovered a burned vehicle on a rural, dirt covered road in the area of the intersection at Hickory Hill and Guard Roads. The vehicle fire self-extinguished prior to being discovered, and is considered to be a total loss, valued at $50,000. The car was identified as a 2026 Infinity GX-60 Crossover SUV.
Fire marshals say the vehicle was reported stolen out of Baltimore County, and have determined the fire to be incendiary in nature.
