Boardwalk Rock to Return to OC in 2027 After One-Year Pause

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Event organizers have announced that Boardwalk Rock will be returning to Ocean City’s shores next May.

In a post to social media, the festival’s page confirmed that the festival would be returning on May 14-16, 2027.

The festival first took place in May 2025, featuring a lineup with artists such as Def Leopard, Mötley Crü, Nickleback, Shinedown, and more. However, the festival was put on pause for 2026, with Ocean City officials citing a “variety of challenges” that made it difficult to deliver a high-quality experience for festival attendees.

Details about this year’s lineup and ticket sales have not been announced at this time.
