Berlin Opens Beer Mug Sales Ahead of Oktoberfest

BERLIN, Md. – Now that the weather is cooling down, the town of Berlin is preparing for fall festivities.

Berlin’s beloved Oktoberfest event takes place on October 17th, the festival’s popular beverage tickets and commemorative beer mugs have already gone on sale due to high demand in past years.

The limited addition mug is custom and stainless steel, and includes two drink tickets.

Director of Economic & Community Development Ivy Wells explains that last year the custom keepsake completely sold out, and this year, there are already only 300 remaining.

“So we started our beer stein sales early this year because they sold out so quickly last year during the Oktoberfest event, people were coming up to us asking where they could purchase them and we didn’t have any left.” Said Wells.  “So we ordered more this year and we’re selling them early. But please get your order in so you’ll be sure to get one for that day.”
