133 Grams of Marijuana Seized in Traffic Stop in Wicomico Co.
Wicomico County, Md. – One man received a criminal citation following a drug investigation that ended in a traffic stop.
Troopers charged Davion Douglas with possession with intent to distribute marijuana before releasing him.
Douglas was observed by the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office to be involved in what appeared to be a drug transaction between the occupants of a vehicle. Detectives conducted a traffic stop, with a K-9 scan of the vehicle testing positive.
The vehicle was searched and reports say that a book bag was located containing 38 individual bags of suspected raw marijuana, totaling a weight of 133 grams. Additionally, $1,886 was discovered after a search of Douglas’ person. The suspected marijuana, currency, cellular telephone, and other items of evidentiary value were seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
