Zaxby’s Opens New Location in Easton

EASTON, Md.– Zaxby’s first brought their popular chicken fingers, wings, and salads to Cambridge last fall but now their Chief Operating Officer Sharlene Smith is excited about the franchise’s future on the Eastern Shore.

“So this location in Easton Maryland is our fourth location,” Smith said. “We’re really excited to have our second location on the Eastern Shore, so as travelers come in and out to Ocean City we’re so excited that they can visit their second favorite Zaxby’s.”

As Zaxby’s continues expanding across the Eastern Shore, Smith says that variety is a big part of how they are trying to win over customers.

“There’s something for everyone,” Smith said. “Whether your sweet and savory, a little spicy you can have it. Whether you want a delicious shake or you want some amazing tenders your going to find it here at Zaxby’s.”

It’s not just the food that’s creating a buzz, city official Amy Kreiner say the new location brings more than just delicious tenders to the Easton community.

“So the excitement around a business like this coming to Easton is just so palpable,” Kreiner said. “And then the new has been very exciting and so it means a lot of energy and it means growth.”

The new restaurant allows the people in Easton to have more choices when it comes to deciding on what to eat something that Kreiner is excited about.

“I think choices are always a great thing for the people who live here,” Kreiner said. “It’s just a great opportunity for people to try different things.”
