WMDT Supports Shorebirds’ Float for the Fund

SALISBURY, Md. – Tonight’s Good News is brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming out of Perdue Stadium.

WMDT’s General Manager Stephanie Willey volunteered with the Delmarva Shorebird’s Annual “Float for the Fund” event where they sold almost five hundred mugs of root beer floats! Proceeds go to the Shorebirds’ Fly Together Fund, which is designed to help fund local community projects, with a focus on supporting local youth and youth sports.

Stephanie even got some help from her grandkids! Great job everyone!
