DSU, Food Bank of DE Partner to Host Capital Park Camp

DOVER, Del. – Tonight’s Good News is brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming out of Dover.

Recent weather has been miserably hot and humid, making it tough for kids to get out and play — but at the Capital Park Camp, staffed by Delaware State University students, 30 kids were able to fill a day with dancing, reading, artwork and games.

The grant-funded program was completely free, and through a partnership with the Food Bank of Delaware, these campers were well-fed.

Great job to everyone who helped to take care of these campers!
