DCHD Opens PREP Grant Applications
(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – The Dorchester County Health Department is lending a hand to local youth groups.
The health department has opened applications for their Personal Responsibility Education Program or PREP grants.
Selected organizations will teach the “Making Proud Choices” curriculum to Dorchester County teens.
And the health department says there’s quite a bit going into the PREP grants.
“We plan to select the three local programs for this round of funding. And each group can get up to $3,000 to run their program. To qualify, the group needs to be able to host a class or at least ten students…” says DCHD Public Information Officer, John Griep.
PREP Grant applications will be accepted through 5 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026.
Applications can be found via the DCHD’s website.
