Caroline County Humane Society To Host “Pints For Paws”
RIDGELY, Md. — The Caroline County Humane Society is hosting a brand-new event, “Pints For Paws,” bringing together local breweries and vineries, small businesses, local vendors, live music, and more.
The event, hosted at The Cow Barn in Ridgely, will feature a beer garden tasting experience, along with wine tastings, food trucks, raffles, and the chance to meet adoptable kittens, cats, and dogs. Visitors can also learn more about the work being done at CCHS to care for pets in need of homes.
The event’s live entertainment lineup includes Tom Godfrey, Dancing on the Shore, and Mama’s Black Sheep.
Funds raised through “Pints For Paws,” will go towards the shelter’s medical expenses, food and daily care, shelter enrichment, behavioral support, and other community events.
“We’re using that money for basically everything that we do here. Every single ticket goes towards that, but also there’s going to be raffles and different things the day of as well, so all of that money will go towards the animals as well,” Executive Director of CCHS Stephanie Flower said.
Tickets to the event’s beer garden cost $25 and includes 12 tastings, and access to the event’s outdoor festival area. Tickets to access only the event’s festival space cost $10. Children under the age of 3 are free.
