Riding for Freedom Highlights Equine Therapy

MILTON, Del.– The first ever Riding for Freedom event is Thursday August 27th at the Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding Center.

The Riding for Freedom Event will start at 6pm on Thursday and will go until 9 pm.

The event will have live music, fifty fifty raffles and a live auction. Attendees can also enjoy some barbecue and the music is by Robbie LeBlanc.

Vice President of Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding says the overall goal of the event is to enlighten attendees on equine-assisted therapy.

“The goal was to raise awareness of what we do,” Sharp said. “The community knows we’re here, but they don’t always know what goes on behind the wall, so we want to pull back the curtain and invite some new people in to talk about what we do.”
