Salisbury Sunrise Rotary Club organizes celebrity basketball

FRUITLAND, Md. – A big sporting event happening in our local community, bringing together people of all backgrounds, by the Salisbury Sunrise Rotary Club

At the Crown Sports Center, on August 7th, a celebrity basketball game was organized by the Salisbury Sunrise Rotary Club.

Their 5th annual, and the biggest fundraiser the group puts together. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $10 for kids.

The Harlem Wizards will take on the Sunrise SuperSonics, a team made up of local sports figures, business leaders, and celebrities.

Mandy Schuyler of the Crown Sports Center explains to WMDT how big this will be for the community.

“Things like this happen, we want to continue to promote our community and promote things to come to our community. This is a great way for children and adults together to come enjoy things for the family.”
