S.T.A.T.T Camp Holds Program Tour to Showcase Students Work

NEWARK, Md. – S.T.A.T.T Camp held a program tour to showcase their students skills at Worcester Technical High School on Monday.

The program stands for Skilled Trades, Agriculture, Tourism, and Technology. The students of the camp learn about a variety of career fields from hands-on experiences and lesson plans.

Tamara Mills is a Coordinator of Instruction and helps lead the out-of-school programs for Worcester County Public Schools, and explained how this program provides growth and development to the community.

“It really allows our students to start looking at their future, which consequently impacts Worcester County’s future.” Said Mills. “Right. Because if we can get our students educated in the industries and careers that are right here in Worcester County, then we are kind of driving our own future.”

The tour showcased students work from cosmetology skills to agriculture and even woodworking. Showing visual evidence of the future workforce of Worcester County.
