OCPD Visits Art League’s Summer Camp

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Tonight’s Good News is brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming out of an unlikely partnership in Ocean City.

Police work and artwork don’t always go together, but the Art League of Ocean City decided to combine these two aspects that make a community great. At the Art Adventure Summer Camp, today’s theme was “Heroes: real or imagined”, reminding the campers that a hero can come in many forms.

Police Officer First Class, Anthony Helias, Public Safety Officer Elizabeth Fanelli, and K-9 Edge loved meeting so many young artists — and showing campers that behind the badge is someone dedicated to keeping the community safe.
