Multiple Companies Respond to RV Fire in Sussex Co.

SUSSEX COUNTY, Del. – Multiple fire companies responded to a recreational vehicle (RV) fire on Saturday afternoon.

Crews with the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department, and Millsboro Fire Company responded to a reported fire on Warwick Road. Despite initial reports classifying the fire as a structure fire, the report was amended to a vehicle fire.

Emergency crews arrived to an RV full engulfed with flames and worked to extinguish the fire. The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control with the closure of Warwick Road.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating this incident.
