Millsboro Police Department to host road safety seminar Saturday

MILLSBORO, Del.– The Millsboro Police Department is hosting a road safety seminar on Saturday with the goal of strengthening community connections and reducing traffic crashes.

The seminar begins at 9 a.m. Aug 1 at the department’s downtown station. The event will focus on practical road safety tips and encourage safe driving habits to improve safety on local roads.

Lt. Jonathan Zubrowski said one of the most important ways drivers can stay safe is by eliminating distractions behind the wheel.

“My one tip, from my 13 years of experience, is don’t drive distracted,” Zubrowski said. “Pay attention to the road, and wait to change your song until you get to a stop sign or stoplight.”
