George Island Landing Road Boat Ramp Closed Indefinitely

STOCKTON, Md. – Worcester County officials have announced that the George Island Landing Road boat ramp will be closed indefinitely starting Monday, Jul. 6.

The boat ramp, located on Route 366, is set to undergo improvements, including replacement of the ramp, bulkhead, and stone revetment, as well as overlaying the parking lot. The facility will be unavailable to the public throughout the duration of the project, and boaters are encouraged to use the Taylors Landing boat ramp to access the Chincoteague Bay during the closure.
