Felton Police Arrest Salisbury Woman after Robbery Investigation
FELTON, Del. – The Felton Police Department (FPD) has arrested a Salisbury woman following a robbery investigation.
Officers arrested 27-year-old Lymyia Tratayshia Williams on charges of second degree robbery, offensive touching, and criminal mischief. She was arraigned and released on $2,200 unsecured bail pending a future court appearance.
Just after noon on Jun. 13, FPD officers responded to the 100 block of Honeybrook Lane in reference to a reported assault. Their investigation determined that a 36-year-old man was inside his residence when a woman, later identified as Williams, struck him in the face, forcibly took his cell phone, and fled the residence. As Williams fled through the backyard, she also allegedly damaged a wooden fence, causing property damage. She left the area prior to officers’ arrival, and a warrant was obtained for her arrest.
On the morning of Saturday, Jun. 27, members of the Delaware State Police located Williams at the Rodney Village Shopping Center. After learning she was wanted by FPD, troopers took her into custody without incident. Williams was also found to have an active capias warrant for an unrelated traffic matter. She was subsequently turned over to Felton Police officers.
