UPDATE: 25-Year-Old Victim Identified in Fatal Seaford Crash
UPDATE: Delaware State Police have identified the victim of a single-vehicle crash that occurred Friday morning on Hastings Farm Road in Seaford.
Police said 25-year-old Kesnel Similien, of Seaford, died as a result of the crash. Authorities identified him Saturday after notifying family members.
The crash remains under investigation.
SEAFORD, Del. – The Delaware State Police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred early Friday morning.
On Jul. 10, around 6:40 a.m., a Hyundai Veloster was traveling southbound on Hastings Farm Road, north of Coverdale Road, at an apparent high rate of speed. For reasons still under investigation, the car ran off east side of the road, struck a chain link fence and a parked vehicle in a private driveway,before overturning and striking a tree.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 25-year-old man from Seaford, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.
