DSF Hosts a Dozen Bakers in Peach Recipe Competition
(HARRINGTON, Del) – And Delaware bakers were making the most of delicious Delaware peaches Wednesday morning.
Delaware bakers took part in the fair’s annual peach recipe competition, featuring more than a dozen recipes for people to sink their teeth into.
Plenty of people were ready to try some peach themed treats. And this year’s competition was fierce.
“And peaches are their favorite, and they’re very, very competitive. This year, we had three perfect scores that we had to do a judge off on. So super exciting this year. And we absolutely love the peach day,” says, DSF Assistant Culinary Superintendent, Trina Stump.
