(HARRINGTON, Del) – Everyone’s certainly got their favorite foods to get at the Delaware State Fair.

Just ask Wilmington’s Christian Taylor, enjoying some delicious smoked brisket and pulled pork. He tells WMDT, “Last year I tried they had a burrito with mac and cheese and pulled pork over here. I didn’t want to go with something so heavy. Would, like mac and cheese. So just pulled pork and brisket today.”

Or ask Lewes’ Bryce Kelly, who says, “The first food that I tried here at the state Fair was a couple of years ago. I don’t know if they still have or not, but it’s a Pig on a stick. It’s like a bacon, a syrup and stuff like that. And it’s really good. I’ve had it before…”

From Doughnut burgers to dole whips, everyone’s got something they want to try.

It’s hydrating. It’s not like, so milky. And it just freshens up a hot day,” says Alea Meredith of Seaford as she enjoys some dole whip with family.

Especially some out-there creations, prove you can fry anything.

Just ask Jeremy Maisano who says, “Oh, absolutely, the deep fried butter. It just looks so absolutely absurd. It’s just like, ‘why would they do that?’ So I just want to try it just to, like, just make everyone just mind boggling.”

But no matter how you indulge at the fair, you can’t go wrong.

Be sure to keep up with WMDT’s coverage of the Delaware State Fair.
