Cambridge Preparing for First Music Festival This Weekend

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – Gerry Boyle Park in Cambridge is going to be rocking this weekend as the city of Cambridge hosts a two day music festival for the first time.

The Families of Smithville Road are hosting a a 10 act music festival in the park with proceeds going towards a campaign geared towards improving reading proficiency in third graders over the next few years.

And organizers say they’re expecting a large turnout, rain or shine.

“Lord willing, we want to fill these ground. We are looking at 2 to 3000 people to be here. And, we just want to have a good time, fun with family and friends,” says Families of Smithville Road, VP, Tyrone Wilson.
