Body Found in Wooded Area in Rehoboth; DSP Investigating

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – The Delaware State Police are investigating after a dead body was found in a wooded area in Rehoboth Beach.

At 1:40 p.m. on Jul. 7, troopers and Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control Police responded to a wooded area on Holland Glade Road near Sandalwood Drive after unknown person was found deceased in the wooded area. The investigation remains ongoing, and police say the circumstances currently do not appear to be suspicious.

The victim was turned over to the Office of Forensic Science to determine the cause of death.
