Princess Anne police investigating shooting

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – The Princess Anne Police Department is investigating a reported shooting.

Police responded to the area of Pine Knoll Drive and Somerset Avenue Monday for the incident.

Once on scene, officers found an adult male in the roadway suffering from non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to TidalHealth for treatment.

An initial investigation indicates the individual was hit by a vehicle and at least one gunshot was fired during the incident.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
