One sent to hospital after head-on collision in Selbyville

SELBYVILLE, Del. – One person was sent to the hospital following a head-on crash in Selbyville Monday night.

Around 9:45 p.m., the Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the intersection of Cemetery Road and Route 113 for the head-on collision.

Once on scene, EMS personnel evaluated all patients while fire crews worked to secure the scene and clear debris from the roadway.

One patient was taken to South Coastal ER for further evaluation and treatment.

Fire police remained on scene to assist Selbyville Police with traffic control until the road was cleared.
