Ocean City man killed in Worcester County crash

WHALEYVILLE, Md. – An Ocean City man was killed following a fatal crash in Worcester County Tuesday night.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., troopers responded to the area of westbound US Route 50 near Maryland Route 610 in Worcester County.

An investigation revealed that a Nissan Altima failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a Ford F-150 that was traveling west on US Route 50.

The driver of the Altima, 79-year-old Gregory Roth, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the Ford F-150 refused medical treatment.

The investigation is active and on-going.
