James M Bennett Students Represent Jr. Achievement

(SALISBURY, Md) – Junior Achievement of the Eastern Shore has a little more to celebrate this week as local students are representing the group on the national stage.

Three students from James M Bennett are representing Junior Achievement at the Future Bound National Competition in Boston.

This comes after the students with the local Junior Achievement chapter earned first place in the program’s stock market challenge.

“I hope it will be really encouraging for parents. For us to be able to show that we were able to give students this experience. I think it’s very unique to a lot of the things that are happening. I know there’s a lot of conversations about students gaining real world knowledge and being prepared for life after high school. And I think this event and this competition does that. So beautifully,” says Junior Achievement Senior Education Manager, Tori Alexander.

Be sure to check back with WMDT for the results from the Junior Achievement competition.
