Dover Teen Arrested with Multiple Firearms Following Local Dispute

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department has arrested a teen after finding multiple firearms in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Police say they arrested a 16-year-old male on Wednesday evening, charging him with multiple firearms-related offenses. He was reportedly taken into custody without incident. 

At 6:00 p.m. on Jun. 3, police received information concerning a firearm-related dispute involving local juveniles. Detectives assigned to the Drug, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit, along with members of the Street Crimes Unit, initiated an investigation into the matter.

Later that evening, officers located a vehicle connected to the investigation and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, officers recovered multiple firearms, including a handgun that was concealed on the 16-year-old.
