Water Leak Maintenance, Sidewalk Repairs to Restrict Rehoboth Avenue
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – The City of Rehoboth Beach has announced two repair projects coming to Rehoboth Avenue this week.
Firstly, on Wednesday, May 27, the City’s Water Department will be repairing a leaking irrigation service line on eastbound Rehoboth Avenue, between Egg and Rise Up Coffee. Signs and lane restrictions will be in place, but motorists will still be able to access both Rise Up and Cottages by the Sea.
Secondly, on Thursday, May 28, the City’s Streets Department and Lakeside Concrete will be replacing sidewalks in front of 216A, better known as Rock Creek. Access to the business will be closed and seven parking spots will be affected from Wednesday night until work concludes on Thursday. Additionally, pedestrian walk areas will be installed by the construction area.
