Police arrest Delmar woman after finding drugs in vehicle

Felton, Del. – Felton Police have arrested a Delmar woman after illegal drugs were found in a car she was in.

23-year-old Harley Lynn Flanagan was taken into custody without incident and faces a number of charges including Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance.

Friday, Felton police conducted a traffic stop on U-S Route 13 near Midstate Road.

During the investigation, a K-9 alerted officers to the presence of illegal drugs inside the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle found 139 bags of suspected heroin, along with drug paraphernalia located in the passenger compartment where Flanagan was seated.

She was arraigned and released on her own recognizance, pending a future court date.
