Plane makes emergency landing in Ocean City
OCEAN CITY, Md. – Police and fire crews responding to a plane that made an emergency landing on the beach in Ocean City Monday evening.
Just after 5:30 p.m., the Ocean City Fire Department and Ocean City Police Department responded to the area of 94th Street for the Cessna 150 that landed on the beach.
The pilot and one passenger, both from Bel Air, Maryland, refused medical treatment on scene and did not report any injuries.
The aircraft had departed from Ocean City Municipal Airport prior to the incident.
The NTSB and the FAA will lead the investigation.
