Ocean City Restaurant Week promotes local dining

Ocean City, Md. –  Ocean City Restaurant Week promotes restaurants to support local businesses.

From April 26 to May 9, participating locations are offering unique menu items and discounts as an incentive to support local dining.  Restaurant owners and staff say that they are excited to showcase what makes them unique to the town.

“It’s supporting local businesses, its supporting its local year-round residents. It gives them a chance to come out and just have like a local special treat you know?” says Natalie Malantonio of Coastal Salt, a boardwalk restaurant specializing in seafood.

This event acknowledges these businesses for their vital role to the resort town’s economy, and restaurant owners see the event as an opportunity for visitors to explore and discover something new.
