New health clinic urges for personalized treatment at smaller clinics.

Berlin, Md. – A new woman-owned health clinic has opened, and is specializing in personally designed preventative care.

Proactivity and preventative care are at the forefront of Vero Health and wellness. Vero says practicing in this location is valuable for the future as the population of permanent residents is growing. With this region holding a long-standing reputation of being a vacation area with seasonal residents, urgent care and corporate facilities have held a stronger presence. But as the permanent population grows, Founder and medical director, Melissa Youtz urges patients to understand that smaller facilities have the ability to build relationships with patients, strengthening the preventative care that stops medical issues before they occur.

“I’m part of this community, I know the patients, and there’s a growing need in this community for, individualized care like this where you’re not going to the corporate places” says Youtz.

When asked about her preferences in providers, Dana Liedholm, a patient, says that Vero Health & Wellness “doesn’t just treat your symptom, she takes the time to find exactly what’s going on and if there is something underlying that symptom as opposed to just putting a band aid on it or giving me a pill”
