Charity hockey event “Light the Lamp for Liam” coming to Easton

EASTON, Md. – A hockey-centered event celebrating the memory of a local youth hockey player is coming to Easton later in May.

Light the Lamp for Liam will take place Saturday, May 30 at the Talbot County Ice Rink.

The event will honor Liam, a Queen Anne’s County High School Junior who passed away in February,  by raising funds to provide financial assistance to young athletes who want to play hockey, but cannot afford it.

The event will feature two hockey games involving veteran and first responder teams, as well as a silent auction, food and kid-centered activities.

Tickets are 10-dollars, with free admission for kids under 13.
