A Mother’s Day stroll celebration in Downtown Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. — This Sunday is Mother’s Day, and the City of Salisbury wants to celebrate all the mothers in town.

Downtown businesses have joined together to create a day of fun, with free giveaways from Little Miss Lovely Floral Design and Turmalina By Pinal. There will also be a photo booth by Darling Wedding Productions. The event will feature a special music performance from Margot and Val from 1 to 3 p.m.

Delmarva Homegrown owner and mother Leann Marriner shared why it’s a beautiful day to be in Salisbury:

“We are trying to get everyone downtown to celebrate mom and show her how much we appreciate her. We have lots of giveaways, gifts and goodies for mom. It’s a good time for her to come down, relax, hang out with the kids and treat herself to what Salisbury has to offer,” Marriner said.

The event is Saturday from 12 to 3 p.m.
