Wicomico Teachers Certified in Stop the Bleed Training

SALISBURY, Md. – Tonight’s Good News, brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming out of Wicomico County Public Schools.

After two sessions of “Stop the Bleed Train the Trainer” training, 19 health education teachers from various Wicomico Schools have been certified. They are now prepared to teach lifesaving bleeding control techniques, like pressure, packing and tourniquet use, to students taking Health Education — who will also have the opportunity to become certified.
