UPDATE: Wilmington 19-Year-Old Arrested for Nov. 2025 Shooting in Dover
UPDATE: The Dover Police Department has arrested a 19-year-old from Wilmington in connection with a shooting that occurred on Nov. 28, 2025.
On Tuesday, Apr. 14, police arrested Malik Isabell on charges on possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony, first degree reckless endangerment, three counts of possessing a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited, and four counts of criminal mischief. He was taken into custody in Wilmington without incident. Isabell was arraigned and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $96,000 cash bond.
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late on Friday night.
At 11:58 p.m. on Nov. 28, police responded to a home on the 400 block of Cowgill Street following the report of a shooting. Upon arrival on the scene, officers made contact resident.
Police were able to determine an unknown suspect shot a gun and struck the victim’s residence. The home was occupied at the time of the shooting, but no injuries were reported.
Police have no additional leads at this time.
