Salisbury University baseball notches top-five win over Shenandoah

SALISBURY, Md. – No. 12 Salisbury University baseball blasted their way to a 6-3 victory over No. 5 Shenandoah University.

The Sea Gulls’ offense was powered by early-game longballs. Jake Witter skied a ball to right with two outs in the bottom of the first that carried beyond the fence for a three-run shot. Then, after Shenandoah chipped in a run in the top of the second, Trent Waire rifled a line drive that left the park as a two-run homer.

Salisbury rode their early 5-1 lead to a top-five victory, with Cole Williams recording the win for the Sea Gulls.
