Parkside softball pulls away from Crisfield at home
SALISBURY, Md. – Parkside softball took down Crisfield 15-5 in five innings Wednesday afternoon in Salisbury.
The Crabbers landed the first blow with a four-run first inning, but Parkside responded with five of their own in the bottom of the inning move out in front.
After extending their lead to 6-4 with a run in the second, Parkside started to pull away with five runners crossing home plate in the fourth, then four more in the fifth for the run rule victory.
Lucy Malone led the way offensively for Parkside with two hits and three runs batted in. Six other Rams batters plated at least one run, with Julia Bright, Mackenzie Lee, and Ryleigh Kelly each recording two RBIs.
