One indicted in Bridgeville for federal gun & drug violation

BRIDGEVILLE, Del – A Bridgeville man has been indicted for unlawfully possessing a firearm and unlawful possession of fentanyl, with the intent to distribute.

On Apr 7, a federal grand jury indicted 21 year-old Lamir Faison.  Faison was found with fentanyl with the intention of distributing and an AR-15 style firearm, which he is prohibited from possessing due to a previous felony conviction. His initial appearance was on April 16.

Faison is being charged with one count of possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl, one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, and one count of
possession of a firearm by a person prohibited. If found guilty, Faison faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.
