Ellendale Fire Company respond to motor vehicle fire

ELLENDALE, Del – On Friday afternoon, Ellendale Fire Company responded to a motor vehicle collision and vehicle fire, on DuPont Boulevard.
On April 17, supported by Sussex County Paramedics, and Delaware State Police Aviation, Ellendale Fire Company arrived on location to find passersby using fire extinguishers and performing CPR on the driver. Ellendale Fire and Sussex County medics began patient care and deployed attack lines to extinguish the vehicle fire.
Police remained on the scene to investigate the accident and the patient was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
