Crisfield Man Arrested for Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine in School Zone

CRISFIELD, Md. – The Somerset County Narcotics Task Force have arrested a Crisfield man following an initiative aimed at combating illegal narcotics distribution within the county.

Police arrested 29-year-old Jawyne Antonio Taylor on charges including three counts of possession with intent to distribute narcotics, specifically suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine. He was also charged with intent to distribute in a school zone, along with other related charges. He was arrested at his residence on Apr. 1, and transported to the Somerset County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.

The Somerset County Narcotics Task Force is a cooperative enforcement effort between the Maryland State Police, Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Office of the State’s Attorney in Somerset County.
