Charlie Paparella Hears the Mockingbird Sing

SALISBURY, Md. – In this week’s edition of Back on the Road with Charlie Paparella, brought to you by Furniture & More Gone Coastal, Charlie reflects on spring through the tunes of a mockingbird.

“The mockingbird, the only bird that knows all of the songs, announces in multiple languages that spring has indeed begun,” Charlie says. “And each listener knows the hard, cruel winter has withdrawn its forces, and warm winds blow gently from the south.”

Charlie wishes humans, so capable and advanced, could communicate with people on the other side of the planet as fluidly as we do with our friends and family, as the mockingbird does to his fellow friends. Perhaps, artificial intelligence will allow humans to do this easier in the future.
