Cambridge Police make arrest in connection with assault

CAMBRIDGE, MD – Cambridge Police have arrested an 18 year old after a domestic disturbance on Monday morning.

On Apr 13, Cambridge Police Department responded to Rigby Avenue regarding physical assault of a female victim. A subject identified as Charlie Navarro Rodriguez of Cambridge was present during the investigation and repeatedly interfered.  After blocking the officers from speaking with the victim, officers physically moved Rodriguez away before eventually arresting him with minor incident.

The victim reported that Rodriguez grabbed her, slammed her to the floor, and would not allow her to leave the residence.  Rodriguez was processed by Cambridge Police and later released on his personal recognizance. He has been charged with assault second degree, false imprisonment, obstruct and hinder, and resisting arrest.
