Caesar Rodney girl’s lacrosse rolls up big win over Milford

CAMDEN, Del. – Caesar Rodney girl’s lacrosse took down Milford 16-5 Wednesday evening in Camden.

The Riders jumped out to a 4-1 lead by the end of the first quarter, and though Milford found some offensive success–scoring three goals in the second quarter–Caesar Rodney was able to expand their lead and keep the Buccaneers at arm’s length for the remainder of the game.

CR’s offensive effort was led by four goals from junior midfielder Delaney Miklus, and a seven-point outing (3G, 4A) from senior midfielder Ella Brown.

Caesar Rodney moved to 5-2 with the win, while Milford dropped to 2-2 on the year.
