UPDATE: Bump-Out Demolition on Fitzwater Street to End Apr. 10

UPDATE: The City of Salisbury has extended the demolition project on Fitzwater Street until Friday, Apr. 10.

Crews continue to work on removing existing bump-outs in the area. Travelers are encouraged to use caution when moving through the area. Flaggers will be on site to help direct vehicles.

 

SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury has announced the Field Operations team will begin bump-out demolition work on Fitzwater Street starting Tuesday, Mar. 24.

Weather permitting, this phase of the improvement project is expected to be completed by Friday, Mar. 27.

Travelers are encouraged to use caution when moving through the area. Flaggers will be on site to help direct vehicles.

“This project reflects our commitment to building safer, more accessible streets for everyone in our community,” Mayor Randy Taylor said. “We appreciate residents’ patience as we continue improving Salisbury’s infrastructure.”
