Berlin Police Name First Captain in Department’s History
BERLIN, Md. – The Berlin Police Department (BPD) has announced Robert Fisher has been promoted to serve as the first Police Captain in the agency’s history.
On Wednesday afternoon, the department announced Fisher’s promotion, calling it a truly historic milestone for BPD.
“Captain Fisher has over 31 years of dedicated service to the Town of Berlin,” the department wrote. “Throughout his career, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, and a deep commitment to the safety and well-being of our community. This promotion not only reflects his years of hard work and experience but also marks an important moment in the continued growth and evolution of our department.”
