Sussex Tech Students Present Research in Michigan

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Tonight’s Good News, brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming from Sussex Technical High School.

The school’s Scientific Journal Club recently presented ALS research at the Van Andel Institute in Michigan. Their presentation topic was human neural stem cells being used in mice to research ALS. The group worked all year with Vera, a scientist at the institute to study the research and create their presentation.
